I feel as if June 2014 was a turning point in terms of Bollywood movies. All the rush hour feel from romantic comedy movies like Main Tera Hero, Bewakoofiyaan, Shaadi Ke Side Effects — they kind of, just vanished as this month started.

- The first one on the top June 2014 songs list is “Saturday” from the movie “Humpty Sharma Kii Dulhaniya”. The song is a groovy party song and it reminds of Varun Dhawan’s previous party song “Besharmi Ki Height”. Now what I felt weird about the song is the word – Saturday “Shanivaar”. Is Varun now obsessed with the party night? :p
- “Dil Maange More” or “Khol De Khidki” from the much awaited comedy film “Humshakalls” is quickly escalating through the charts. Set upon a peaceful romantic beach, the video is very funny to watch, especially the part where a larger overweight duplicate of one of the actors dances. Haha!

- Teri Galiyaan – apparently, this is considered one of the best sentimental songs after 2013 hit Aashiqui 2. And as a listener, I have to admit that it is pure music at its depth. I get a feeling of “Tum Hi Ho” and it is beautiful.
